Weapon description
Manufactured by Česká zbrojovka a. s. in Prague, calibre 7,65 mm Browning, made in 1944, eight-shot (magazine capacity)
The marking of the weapon corresponds to the pistols produced in the occupied Protectorate for the OKH (Oberkommando des Herres – General Headquarters of Land Forces). The pistol is marked on the left side of the slide with the description fnh Pistole Modell 27 Kal. 7,65 indicating in order the German fnh manufacturer code, model and calibre of the weapon. The serial number is stamped on the top rail of the breech and preceded by the German Army verification mark in the form of an eagle with a cross.
The serial number is stamped on the right side of the body of the weapon at the end under the barrel. On the body of the weapon above the bolts there is a German army eagle acceptance mark WaA76 (the WaA76 mark belonged to the weapons inspector Kieserwetter from the acceptance department of the army armaments office – Heereswaffenamt). On the right side is stamped the German verification mark in the form of an eagle with a cross on the barrel in the cartridge ejection hole.
The gun is phosphated. Bakelite brown caps (Textoplast No.15) with the trademark of the Strakonice armory consisting of the letters ČZ placed in a circle are original.
Phosphated magazine corresponding to the year of manufacture, marked P.Mod.27 on the bottom.
