Weapon description
Producer Česká zbrojovka a.s. in Prague, calibre 7,65 mm Browning, made in 1946, eight-shot (magazine capacity)
The marking of the weapon corresponds to the pistols produced after the end of the Second World War in the Strakonice armory. The pistol is marked on the left side of the breech only with the calibre number Kal. 7,65. Also stamped on the left side of the frame is BRIGANT, which is an older marking of the German importer Frankonia. On the top rail of the breech is stamped the manufacturer’s marking CZECH ZBROJOVKA A.S. in PRAGUE, followed by the serial number.
The serial number is stamped on the right side of the body of the weapon at the end under the barrel. On the body of the weapon above the barrels there is a stamped marking with the letters XNB, a lion and the double number 46, which marked the acceptance of 6500 pistols for the economic administration of the Main Headquarters of the National Security Corps in Bratislava.
The Czechoslovak authentication mark is also stamped on the right side in the form of a lion on the barrel in the cartridge ejection hole.
Gun is in new gun condition, minimally fired. The finish of the gun is black gloss lacquer. New wooden stocks are unmarked.
Tray blackened to match the year of manufacture, no markings.
