This is the second variant of this type of weapon, manufactured in late 1941 and delivered to OKH (Oberkommando der Wehrmacht) in February 1942. The abbreviation HSc stands for HS – Hahn Selbstspanner (trigger with trigger tension) and small letter c stands for third model. The weapon has correct designation for this type of weapon. The pistol is consecutively marked on the left side with the Mauser company logo, and in two lines with the company and headquarters of Mauser – Werke A. G. Oberndorf a N., in the second line the gun model Mod. HSc and calibre Kal. 7,65 mm. The root of the bow at the grip is stamped with German acceptance mark of the armament officer Major Rosenhagen – Eagle and the service number 135. The weapon serial number is stamped in white on the lower part of the handle from the front. The right side features civilian verification marks in the shape of an Eagle/N located on the back of the bow and on the breech at the front near the muzzle of the barrel.
The weapon has wooden grip panels with herringbone, smooth around the edges corresponding to the type of weapon. The magazine is steel with no number on the bottom with the Mauser logo matching the design of the weapon manufacture year.
